We wanted a chance to make a difference in the world by solving core challenges and sharing life’s essentials. Clean air and water, healthy food, and safe shelter are well-known standards to live by, but there are daily examples where we know this isn’t available to everyone. Searching for careers to aid us in this humanitarian path, we fell short in finding a company that wanted to see this through, and so, out of necessity, we made our own- Mach33 Engineering.

Mach33’s MISSION is to work with aerospace companies to develop new technologies to further explore the Universe. We have recently focused our efforts with NASA Goddard Space Flight Center by aiding in the development of mass spectrometers for exploring Mars and Titan. These projects provide an incredible opportunity for our team to solve design and fabrication challenges, laying the foundation to eventually tackle our vision of a greater impact to the world.
Guru Ramu is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mach33 Engineering. Guru is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, and has spent his career developing his expertise in design and manufacturing. Guru’s passion for design drives his day-to-day work at Mach33, while his commitment to using science and technology to improve societal problems drives his overall vision for the company.
He began his science career with Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. at NASA Goddard as an Instrument Specialist. Throughout his career, Guru has gained significant experience in additive manufacturing. After working with Honeywell Technology Solutions, he pursued his interest in 3D printing and design, by founding ALIO Designs, LLC. ALIO Designs provided CAD consulting for 3D part designs and specialized in high-fidelity models with integrated circuits for customers at NASA Goddard, NASA JPL, NASA Langley, Genesis Engineering, SGT, and many private clients.
Guru has continued to grow his portfolio in manufacturing and created Mach33 Engineering in 2018. As the Chief Executive Officer of Mach33 Engineering, he has been the driving force of Mach33 and has created a company culture that values providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
We develop products that are launched into space, and therefore must reach an escape velocity of “Mach33″ to leave Earth or about 25,000 mph- we chose to stand by and support exploration and science development as we believe this is the key to the growth of our civilization. Through this growth, we look to create solutions for clean air and water, healthy food, and safe shelter – our hopes of providing basic needs.
