During early stages of the pandemic, there was a face shield shortage in clinics and dentist offices. MACH 33 engineers worked to quickly produce 3D printed face shields designed to work with already existing optics and lighting solutions.
Covid Protection shield for Local School in West Laurel, Bond Mill Elementary needed solutions to help teachers when classrooms were opening back up for in-person instruction.
MACH 33 worked with the principal and faculty of Bond Mill Elementary to design and manufacture clamp-style shields for mobile workstations. Larger desk-mounted shields were also fabricated to facilitate a way for teachers to provide first aid to students.
